Thanks for talking to us. Can you quickly describe what you do at Haunt Digital?
We are a web services company that, in addition to websites, works on a variety of projects including mobile applications, games and animations. We have a wide range of clients from small private sector businesses, NGOs, industry associations, and government.
What made you originally decide to use SiteHost?
I had used SiteHost personally, plus my previous work had clients who used SiteHost and said good things about you so it was a bit of a no brainer to be honest.
And would you say we have solved any problems for you? If so what are they?
Primarily I think offering good affordable New Zealand based hosting. Our clients wanted assurance that everything was hosted securely in New Zealand and being affordable helps us run a successful business.

Have you used any other hosting providers? How do you think we stack up?
We have used a few, Digital Ocean and AWS are probably the most well known ones. In our experience and testing we get better performance from the servers we have with you. Latency is obviously better too for obvious reasons.
Compared to other New Zealand hosts we found you to be much better value for money.
Really stoked to hear that. What would you say the biggest benefit of being with SiteHost is?
That’s a difficult question to answer! Probably being very approachable. I know I can pick up the phone at any time and get personal service from you.
So you’d recommend us to a friend then? What would you say?
Definitely, I’ve already recommended you to lots of people. I tell them you get fast service from an approachable and easy to deal with team as well as value for money.
Anything you would like to add or is there anything you want us to do or work on?
For a while we wanted larger disks on your VPS platform but then you launched the VDS range which has solved that problem for us.
Nothing else comes to mind. I haven’t had to think about it really, we spin up a server and in a couple of minutes we are good to go.
